Abbeyfield Houses are open to self-sufficient men and women 65+.

Abbeyfield Houses are non-profit, managed by a volunteer board of directors.

Abbeyfield was founded in England in 1956.

Abbeyfield Houses of Vernon is a registered charitable society, founded in 1993.

There are 1100 houses worldwide.

There are 16 houses in British Columbia.
